Responsibilities
Overseeing the running of the Melboourne.
Giving direction, cover, pastoral care and guidance to all Australia bases and YWAMers.
Represent YWAM Oz at international levels.
Oversee and organise National Leaders Meetings.
Assist Regional Director in oversight of YWAM bases in Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and East Timor.
In his capacity he plays a key role in the overall operation of the mission throughout the nations listed. He travels extensively, regularly visiting the 23 bases and ministry centres that operate around the country, offering insight and encouragement to the leadership, staff and students. He also travels internationally, speaking at YWAM facilities and churches in the USA, Europe, Asia and the Pacific.
Steve regularly teaches at YWAM's training and development courses including the Discipleship Training School and School of Evangelism, where he covers topics such as Wisdom, Relationships, Authority and Submission, Evangelism, Spiritual Gifts, Father Heart of God and others. He has a heart to see men and women fulfilled in their call and destiny in Christ and mobilised in the Church. He also has a passion for revival and has been involved in city wide movements focussed on prayer, unity and broad evangelism to see the richest blessings of God for the church. During his time with YWAM Melbourne, Steve has also had a major focus on cities and has been used to help release ministries; supported and encouraged to see them changed. Steve is an exhorter, whose style is relaxed and often humorous, but always challenging and stimulating.
