To know God and make Him known is the core value of our DTS. Be ruined for the ordinary! This is the gateway course to the international family of YWAM, come join us. Be challenged in your relationship with God, find your purpose in the Great Commission, and embark with us on the adventure!
ABOUT
The Music DTS includes everything that a Discipleship Training school is and use the medium of music to express the heart of God to the nations. Whether you are a professional musician, sound technician, DJ, event manager or simply a music lover who wants to know God more, this is the school for you!
The Music DTS has two parts to it: a 12 week lecture phase and a 12 week outreach phase. Each week of the lecture phase includes local and international speakers sharing on such topics such as The Character of God, Hearing God's voice, The Father Heart of God, Evangelism, Lordship, Repentance and Forgiveness and Intercession. We will also have extra focuses related to the gift of music and creativity and using that to extend the Kingdom of God on earth through music.
YWAM training is all about personal application, not just accumulating knowledge, it’s about “how does this truth affect the way I live my life?” The DTS includes not only classroom lectures, but regular times of worship and prayer, small group discussion, music training, song-writing, band performance, one-on-one discipleship, hands-on serving on base, weekly outreach in the city... and lots of fun community life!
On the outreach, we’ll be using our gifts in music and creativity to share the love of God with others in the nations! During this time we get to experience God working in and through us to bring hope and life to many that don’t otherwise receive it.
