What is a DTS?

* it’s a course that helps you give God room to move in your life

The Details

A Discipleship Training School (DTS) is an intensive Christian training course designed to encourage students in personal character development, cultivating a living relationship with God and identifying their unique individual gifts and callings in God. Cross cultural exposure and global awareness have special emphases. Throughout the course you will hear from both local and international speakers, men and women who live what they talk about, down-to-earth people who have experienced God move in the very areas they are teaching on.

What it looks like

* 6months full-time (3 months in a classroom setting + 3 months doing practical ministry locally and overseas)

* Live, learn, and work with a bunch of other radical people (from all different nations) willing to give God six months of their lives to get to know Him and find out their destiny in Him

* Get teaching from international speakers who live what they teach; get personal input from your individual mentor; talk about real issues that matter to God in a small group of Christians who want to love God with everything they’ve got

* God’s Intention for Individuals, Peoples, and Creation:

1. respect human life
2. recognise the significance to God of peoples and nations

* God’s Redemption, Sin and the Cross - Recognise Jesus as Lord:
1. respond in faith to Jesus
2. understand the reality of Satan and his strategies
3. understand practical spiritual warfare
4. walk in the fear of the Lord and resist sin

* God’s Family, His Children and Church - Become More Like Jesus:
1. cooperate with the Holy Spirit
2. relate to God as His child
3. develop Christ-like attitude and reflect Christ in relationships

* God’s World, His Call and His Commission - Do the Works of Jesus:
1. respond to the Great Commission and Abrahamic Covenant
2. respond to needs of nations with little to no Gospel witness
