About Us
Youth With A Mission is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world.
Also known as YWAM (pronounced “WHY-wham”), we unite in a common purpose to know God and to make Him known.
Back when we began in 1960, our main focus was to help youth get involved in missions.
Today, we equip and mobilize young people (and the young at heart), sending them to serve communities across the globe, bringing the good news of Jesus in both word and deed.

A Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM Australia is an adventure in knowing God and making Him known. Lasting up to six months, it’s a mix of learning, community, and outreach where you get to grow in your faith and put it into action.
Doing a YWAM DTS in Australia can open doors to new opportunities — helping you discover your purpose, grow in confidence, and step into what God has for your future. It can be a launchpad into further YWAM training, missions overseas, or whatever path God is calling you to next.
