YWAM's Institute for the Nations offers a number of credited and non-accredited training programs in a variety of disciplines aimed at helping to engage your passions and equip you for great things. Most courses will have a practical expression with opportunity to travel and put what you've learned into action. Some of our students are currently:
- Working with street kids in Newcastle or Brazil
- Influencing the world of media
- Working with Aids Orphans in Africa or Asia
- Working in a local church
- Working as a midwife in Bangladesh
- Reclaiming the Arts
- Starting churches in Siberia or Indonesia
The Institute for the Nations - Australia is a part of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) International. The Institute for the Nations - Australia is a registered training organisation affiliated with YWAM's international network of tertiary level education/training known as the University of the Nations . The University of the Nations is not registered/accredited as a university in Australia.
Get started with YWAM's Discipleship Training School (YWAM DTS), a 5-6 month action packed experience of character and faith-based training with an opportunity to travel and help others. YWAM DTS's are offered in a variety of locations around Australia and come with many different focuses from the Classic DTS to the Crossroads DTS (for people aged 35+), from Compassion DTS to a Surfer's DTS.
